The Gospel Is... Deed & Truth

The Bible calls us to exemplify Christ in how we live for the purpose of shining the light of the gospel. The gospel loves people in deed and truth as well as in words. This is accomplished when we see people as Jesus saw people. Christians are called to see the poor, destitute, hungry, homeless outcasts of society. While surface religion may pass them all by, true religion stops and shows mercy at our own expense. This type of love shines a true light into the darkness. Do you love in deed and truth or only in word and tongue?
