Colossians 2:1-5

While we see Paul certain of his calling from the previous verses (v.25 "to present the word of God in its fullness"), he gives us his desire for how the message should land in a practical way amongst God's people. The message of Christ ought to encourage and unite believers in such a way where we understand Him more completely through each other, to a point of thwarting fine sounding, deceptive arguments against the pure gospel.
