Jeremiah

For generations going back into the Old Testament time period, men have sought to follow God in their own way, according to what they think is right. Religion has corrupted and deceived the minds of many people, it has comforted them in their rituals and traditions, all the while ignoring or misunderstanding the true purpose of God calling them, offering salvation and blessing to them. In His everlasting patience and mercy, God has sent messengers with a simple message: Turn from your idolatry and your evil ways and return to the Lord your God. In Old Testament times, He sent prophets to bring this message to the people.
