Cards You Have Been Dealt

We have all been dealt cards in our life: Ones that we did not choose- things that have been chosen for us by those who have come before us. Some of those cards are exciting, enjoyable, and give us hope for the future. But others are hard, uncomfortable, or even painful. Some even leave many of us wondering: “How is there a loving God if he would allow me to experience these hard things in life?” Some of us even struggle through life so much for so long that we harden our hearts till we no longer believe in God at all. But what if God didn’t cause those struggles but instead chooses to use those struggles caused by sin to test and strengthen us? To make us more than we can imagine? What if God wants to use the cards we have been dealt because we were Made for More than the scars that have been left on us from the sins of man?
