Salvation

God promised to bring salvation to all men, granting them forgiveness and eternal life. This salvation is only in Jesus as He alone is the fullness of God, resurrected from the dead with the power to save. Salvation is only received by faith and not works. If salvation were as the result of works, man would be able to put God in his debt. As it is, salvation is a gift to be received, not a prize to be earned. Salvation makes new. When a person is truly saved, they are transformed into a new person bearing the fruit of joyfully concurring with the law of God in the inner man. Have you been made new by receiving the promise of salvation? Are you proclaiming and urging others to believe on Jesus to be saved?
