Psalm 127:3 says, “Behold, children are a gift of the Lord.” As with any gift, stewardship is key. This is definitely true in the case of parenting as we have the potential to influence our children’s lives for multiple decades and to practice things like patience, agility, discipline, and compassion as the primary influence in our children’s lives.
