SeptW2 Vlog - Put others needs before your own

As we begin our look at being true disciples of Christ by loving others, the first thing we discover is that we are supposed to lay down our lives for others just like Christ did. This was demonstrated most definitively when Christ gave up his own life by dying on the cross for all sinners (John 3:16, 1 John 4:9, Romans 5:8). It means we are to lay our lives down for others, or put the needs of others before our own, regardless of their
sins, flaws, imperfections, etc... As we do this, God begins to refine us and we shine the light of the good news of Jesus Christ in the world for all to see (1 John 4:12-16).

This week spend time reading the Word of God (found in our read plan portion of the app) and praying about what putting others needs before your own looks like in your life.
