Joy in Conflict
Aug 8, 2025 • Michael Fitzgerald
When two or more Christians gather in one room, conflict and division often seem inevitable. This is surprising, considering Jesus' command to love one another and to be unified as one body. In the fourth chapter of Philippians, we encounter two believing women who are so divided that their conflict reaches the ears of Paul, even though he is thousands of miles away. Paul encourages others to help these women make peace with each other and reminds them that we are called to be unified in the Lord, rather than divided. This week, we will explore the origins of conflict and examine how the Bible provides a blueprint for handling difficult situations that arise.
