Prayer & Perspective
Understanding the context in which Scripture is written is vital to our understanding and study of God's Word. In this teaching, we will learn how to answer the following questions about any book (focusing on 1 Peter in this teaching) in the Bible to get the perspective and context: Who wrote this book? When was this book written? What was going on in the world at this time? To whom was this book written? Why was this book written?

SERIES DESCRIPTION: Have you ever felt that the Bible was difficult to read or understand? In this "Devoted" series, we will learn together how to study and mine treasures from the Bible using a simple process anyone can learn, and apply that process to Scripture that we will read and study together over the next few weeks. This is so important in our marriages, because as we grow closer to God and His Word, we grow closer to one another.
