I AM the True Vine

Jesus says that He is the True Vine and His Father is the Vine Dresser. If you’ve ever learned about gardening, it’s remarkable how Jesus used this analogy to illustrate His desire for a close relationship with us. When someone accepts Him as Lord, He lovingly prunes and shapes aspects of their life so they can grow closer to Him. On the other hand, those who choose to reject Jesus as Lord are pruned off the vine by the Father and thrown into the fire. What kind of branch are you?
