The First Passover

Pharaoh rejected God’s orders to let the Israelites go over and over again. After nine plagues, God is no longer willing to wait for Pharaoh’s repentance. It is time for God to keep His promise by providing a way for them to escape Egypt. God’s solution comes through the 10th and final plague – which is devastating to firstborn sons across the land. But for God’s people, He provides a way of rescue so that the Israelites can be ‘passed over’ for this final consequence. Moses, once terrified and afraid, is finally able to boldly walk the Israelites out of Egypt. Our timeless truth: Keep your eyes on Jesus
