Proclaimer

This week, we will explore the bold life that John had modeled. He unapologetically led the nations to repentance and set an exceptional example of what it means to humbly live and die for Christ. In fact, John likely wouldn’t appreciate the idea of a message about him (see Mark 1:7, John 3:30). However, we should not direct our attention to John himself, but to the purpose the Lord placed on his life and his obedience in fulfilling it. We should be looking at John as an example of what it means to live out the Great Commission - not out of obligation, but out of a love and desire to serve Jesus and point others to Him.
