The Cross

Many people recognize the cross; they wear it as a symbol on necklaces, tattoos, or earrings, but how many truly understand its significance and the message it carries? What took place on the cross, and why was it part of the Father’s plan for redemption? The Bible states, “For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18, NASB). This week, as we explore the power of the cross, we will discover at its intersection the depths of God’s love and justice.
