The Resurrection

Jesus marched to the cross where He took all the sins of the world and declared, “It is finished”, but the story doesn’t end there. Three days later, He came back to life and walked out of the tomb, which means He defeated death; the gospel wouldn’t be good news and complete without this vital piece. Preaching this message and faith in Christ would be in vain if the resurrection never happened (1 Corinthians 15:14) because that would make Christianity like every other world religion. But Christ's followers get to rejoice in this truth and look forward to a bodily resurrection, which removes the sting of death in our lives.
