Icebreaker (optional): Using just one word, what do you see as the most beautiful characteristic in your wife?

1.Read together aloud Esther 2:12-15. When you need advice, who do you go to?

2. Does Hegai remind you of anyone?

3."The king loved Esther more than all the other women." How does verse 17 describe how he demonstrated his love?

4.Knowing that he loved her affected her how? Ladies, how does your husband's love affect you?

5. Husbands, how does respect from your wife affect you?

6. In Esther 4:14-15, though she desperately needed to speak to the king, she waits.

She asked for nothing the first two meetings with the king.

What can be the benefit of waiting for the right time to help us communicate respectfully? Why is this important?
