God the Son "Jesus"

Jesus Christ is beautifully summarized in Colossians 2:9: “For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.” Jesus is both fully God and fully human, coming to reveal the Father, accomplishing the divine plan of redemption (Mark 1:15), and beginning the work of “making all things new” (Rev 21:5). To many other philosophers and religions, the idea of God literally taking on flesh was both unbelievable and insulting. Yet, this is the heartbeat of the gospel message.
