Building Community - Sessions 2&3
Relationships are the most important aspect of our lives. Our relationship with God is the most important, followed by our relationship with our spouse, then children. And our associations with those in the body of Christ are an essential aspect of our lives as well. As Christians, we have become brothers and sisters in the family of God through the blood of Jesus and the Bible gives these relationships special distinction beyond mere friendship. There is a special, spiritual closeness that is developed between believers, and believers are made for this biblical Christian fellowship. This fellowship is essential to the life of a married couple with other believers as they cooperate in God’s worship, His work and His will being done in the world.
