Moses: The Plagues

In your life, remember, God wants everyone to repent. Because of this, he lets people hear the Good News of Jesus over and over again, even if they reject it. God hopes that His grace and mercy will lead people to repentance– Romans 2:4 | Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

But He won’t wait forever. There will be a last opportunity for people to turn from sin and follow God. Like Pharaoh, they might not know when that time has come. If you are still waiting to repent from your sin and turn to God, hear His message today: God wants everyone to repent (but He won’t wait forever).

Pharaoh continuously hardened his heart against the Lord. How are you currently hardening your heart against the Lord in regards to salvation or how did you before salvation? 

2 Peter 3:9 | The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 

How do we become one of His children?

How can you know for sure you belong to Jesus? Explain your answers. 

Knowing that God is patient towards His creation and that there is an impending judgment to come, how would you communicate the hope you have as a believer to others in your life?
