Friday Drivetime Devotion

“Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”
Psalm 107:8-9

What a wonderful thing it is to be able to push pause, get away from the busyness of life, and spend the weekend together with your spouse to focus on your relationship with one another and your relationship with God. To leave behind jobs, homes, children and responsibilities is certainly no easy feat, but as your retreat begins and you make your way north, start preparing your minds and hearts to receive what God has for you this weekend. Come thirsty, come hungry, come expecting to be satisfied with the good things that God has prepared to fill you with this weekend.
May we give thanks to God for His unfailing love for us. Trust that He has a plan, and He is always working all things for our good.
