Saturday Evening Devotion

“Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.”
Isaiah 28:16

The cornerstone is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry structure. All other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure. Ephesians 2:20 says that Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone of our lives and marriages. Everything we do should be determined in reference to who He is in our life. Is Jesus the cornerstone on which everything else you do is determined?
