Jesus Saves

Halloween is a time when many people celebrate darkness by watching scary movies and decorating their homes. The Bible has a lot to say about the darkness in the world and its origins. In Mark 5, we learn about a man who was possessed by a legion of demons until he encountered Jesus. Jesus demonstrated His divine nature by casting the demons out and saving the man's soul. The Bible is clear that we are all separated from having a relationship with God because of our sin. However, God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Once someone places their faith in Jesus, they are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise and rescued from the kingdom of darkness and transfered into the kingdom of the Son.
