Temptation

If you have ever gone fishing, you know that it’s all about deception and trickery—how flashy and appealing can you make the bait to trick the fish? Temptation works the same way: our flesh, the world, and the enemy work tirelessly to lure us into sin. It’s important to understand what temptation is and where it comes from so we can best combat it. This week, we aim to equip ourselves with knowledge and understanding of what temptation is and how to flee from it. Most importantly, we’ll discover that we do not fight for victory, but from Jesus’ victory.
