Virtue Vest

The breastplate protected the vital organs from being pierced by damaging blows. This armor is not our own but is God’s, and He is asking us to put it on. We are putting on Jesus’s righteousness (2 Cor 5:21). As we walk with Jesus and put on His righteousness, it moves us toward right living and obedience to Him, even when our flesh and Satan want us to do otherwise.
