Pride Comes Before a Fall

Pride is one of the most destructive forces in a marriage because it quietly convinces us that we're right, that we're entitled, and that our way is best. It keeps us from apologizing, prevents us from listening, and often turns small disagreements into deep divisions. If left unchecked, pride doesn't just damage our relationship with God, it damages our relationship with our spouse, the person we promised to love most.
