Teacher: Nick Latta
Description: Generosity in marriage goes far beyond finances—it’s about giving your time, attention, grace, forgiveness, encouragement, and love. This session challenges couples to shift from a mindset of “What can I get?” to “What can I give?” Couples will learn how small acts of selflessness can break down walls, build trust, and reflect the heart of God in practical, powerful ways.
Verses Used:
2 Corinthians 9:7
Proverbs 3:9
Proverbs 19:17
Matthew 25:34-40
Mark 12:42-44

Discussion Questions:
Icebreaker: What’s a small, everyday thing your spouse does that you’re thankful for?
1. What does 2 Corinthians 9:7 teach us about the attitude of giving versus the amount we are giving?
2. Tell about a time when giving together stretched your faith—and how did you see God show up?
3. Share with the group how you decide what and how you are going to give as a couple?
4. Have you and your spouse ever had different perspectives on giving? How did you work through those differences together?
5. Are there areas in your marriage where God might be inviting you to grow in cheerful generosity—not just financially, but with your time or other resources?
