Faith Chooses God
The world has an enticing allure that seeks to capture our attention, tempting us to choose it over God. Moses was raised as a prince in Pharaoh's house, with all the privileges and luxuries the world could offer at his fingertips. He stood at a crossroads, facing a decision: to follow his own desires (the ways of the world) or to follow God's path. Choosing his own way would fulfill all his fleshly desires, while choosing God's way would lead to poverty, trials, and uncertainty. By faith, Moses chose to follow God, and like him, we too face a choice. Will you choose God, or will you continue to be enslaved by the world? As stated in 1 John 2:16, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.”
