Adults Judging Others
Feb 13, 2026 • Tom Atkins
When addressing the issue of how we use our words in the church, it’s important to remember that our speech should reflect Christ’s love and compassion. Instead of speaking evil or judging others harshly, we are called to approach one another with a spirit of compassionate evaluation and loving truth—especially when difficult conversations are needed. Scripture reminds us not to condemn others, but to trust God as the ultimate just and holy Judge. Our role is to encourage, build up, and restore with gentleness, allowing God to work in each person’s heart. Let’s strive to use our tongues to bless, not to curse, and to speak life into our community.
