I AM Your First Love

As the people were led further away from the red sea crossing and deeper into the wilderness they camp near the base of a mountain called Sanai. Here, God would call Moses up onto the mountain to receive a great number of laws and commandments for this new nation of God's people. The Mosaic Law would set the people apart from the other nations as a people that served the one true God. The Moral law would be given as a standard for all believers then and now to show the people their sin and to challenge them to serve a higher calling from The I AM.

2. Read Matthew 5:16 and Matthew 6:1. How can you reconcile these verses? What is the right heart posture in this case?
