God is the Teacher

Mar 11, 2026    Matthew Marsh

Throughout the Bible, we see God creatively coming alongside humanity to reveal our need for Him. For example, by giving the law, He showed us our sinfulness and our need for a Savior—reminding us that we cannot save ourselves. God taught through correction and discipline, as we observe with King Nebuchadnezzar, who became both an instrument of correction for the Israelites and eventually was humbled himself to recognize his dependence on God. God revealed His character through life lessons, as seen with David in the Psalms and Job through his trials. Today, we have the completed Word of God and the Holy Spirit, who guides us, instructs us, corrects us, and equips us for every good work. This week, let’s remember that God is the greatest teacher and intentionally seek His guidance as we learn and grow.
