God is all Knowing
We live in a world eager to acquire as much knowledge as possible. This desire is easily understood, especially since most of us carry a phone that allows us to ask questions and seek information at any moment. With the information boom brought about by technology, many have chosen to seek knowledge not from God, but from the devices and platforms available in the world.
Is there anyone who knows everything, whether a person or an AI? Is that even possible? The answer is yes. God is all-knowing, meaning He possesses unlimited knowledge and does not need to learn anything; He is an expert in all things. Throughout Scripture, we see that God knows everything and understands each of us better than we know ourselves.
Interestingly, humanity is so quick to pursue knowledge yet often refuses to seek wisdom from the One who possesses all knowledge. Jesus has made His wisdom known to humanity through His Word, but just as during His earthly ministry, people today often reject it. This week, we focus on the attribute of God’s omniscience—His all-knowing nature—and how He desires for us to know Him intimately, just as He knows us.
