Questions:
1. What secret sins have you made efforts to hide? Don’t feel pressure to share the specifics, but what were your thoughts as you realized what you had done? What did it feel like when you were able to hide that sin?
2. What is the connection between Matthew 6:13 and 1 Corinthians 10:13 regarding how we face temptation? How can we apply this knowledge in our marriage?
3. Have you and your spouse ever had the chance to confront/confess a secret sin (between the two of you or not); if so, how were you able to handle that?
4. Read Matthew 6:14-15. If your spouse sins against you without your knowledge, what do these verses tell us we should do (spouse or not)?
5. Read Proverbs 28:13. Describe how this feels when you confess your sin to God – then compare that to how it feels when you confess to your spouse for something you did against them?
