The Last Shall Be First

Oct 26, 2023    Todd Deering

Saul has allowed jealousy to consume his heart and he pursues David in an attempt to kill him, while Jonathan, Saul's own son, warns David to flee. As David flees into the countryside he has several encounters with King Saul and an opportunity to kill him presents itself. David shows restraint, respect for God, and humility in his actions and sets an example of Christlikeness that we all can follow.
