SCRIPTURE
Matthew 4:4 | But Jesus told him, No! The Scriptures say, People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Colossians 3:16 | Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

2 Timothy 3:15 | Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

1 Peter 2:1-3 | Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

DISCUSSION

1. How are you filling your life with the Word of God?
2. When people come to you for help or if someone is struggling (having a bad day), what do you tell them? Do you counsel or encourage them from Gods Word? Why or why not?  
3. How are you working hard to know and understand Gods Word? Do you feel like you could do more? Who in your life can help you grow even more?
4. How is growing as a follower of God directly related to reading His Word? With this in mind, are you maturing as a Christ follower?
5. Have you started craving Gods Word? In what ways?
