HEAVEN & HELL - God wants all to be saved!

John 3:16 | “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

1. Does God want anyone to go to Hell? How do you know? 
2. What did God do so that everyone could be saved?

2 Peter 3:9 | The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

1. God has promised that He will send Jesus back. At that point, everyone will either be forever in Hell or forever in Heaven. According to 2nd Peter, why hasn’t Jesus already returned? 
2. Why is it so important to God that people repent (turn from their sin and follow Him)?

2 Peter 3:13-15a | But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight. And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved.

1. Are you excited for Heaven? Why or why not? 
2. Until Jesus comes back, there is time for more people to be saved, but this time won’t last forever. How are you making the most of this time here on Earth?   
3. If you knew Jesus would return tomorrow, what would you do? 

Remember, Jesus will return unexpectedly like a thief in the night. Don’t wait to tell others how to be saved or to live for Jesus yourself. He promises He is coming soon!
