CHURCH - Meets together

Hebrews 10:25 | And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

1. It is important that God’s followers meet with each other as part of a church body.  Why is getting together with other believers important?
2. How often do you intentionally meet with other believers?
3. When you go to church and meet with other believers, what do you do there?

Acts 2:41-42 | Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.

4. The early church gave us an example of what we should do as we meet with other believers. What different things are involved in meeting as a church according to Acts 2:42?
5. In what ways do you— A) Sit under Biblical teaching? B) Fellowship with other believers? C) Share in meals  and communion? D) Pray with and for other believers?
6. Thinking about each of these roles of the church/church-goer, are there any ways you need to get more involved in the body of Christ (the church)?
