GOD: Is all powerful

SCRIPTURES
Psalm 147:5 |
How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!

Isaiah 40:28 | Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.

Job 42:2 | “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you.”

Jeremiah 32:27 | “I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?

Luke 18:27 | He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”

Ephesians 3:20 | Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

DISCUSSION
  1. Absolute means total, complete, perfect. Psalm 147:5 says God’s power is absolute. What does this mean?
  2. Does God’s power have any limits? How do you know?
  3. How do you feel when something seems impossible or when you can’t make things better on your own? How does knowing that God never faces the impossible and is never incapable (or not strong enough) make you feel?
  4. God’s power is at work in you. What is God’s power working in you to do? What is God’s power working through you to do?
  5. Because God is all powerful, we should always turn to Him first in our weakness and struggle. Spend some time in prayer asking God for His power to be shown in the areas you’re currently struggling.
