SATAN - Is crafty

Genesis 3:1 | The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made.

2nd Corinthians 11:3 | But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.

1. In the garden of Eden, how did Satan want to trick Adam and Eve?  
2. How did Satan show his shrewdness (craftiness, trickiness)? 
3. How does Satan try to trick you so that you will sin? 
4. How does Satan try to trick you about your relationship with God (so it seems less important, impossible to get right, or like you’re “okay” even though you’re not close to God)?

2nd Corinthians 11:14 | But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

1. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, instead of an angel of darkness/evil. Why is this?
2. Because of his disguise, Satan is sometimes difficult to recognize. A lot of the times, we want to believe what he is telling us. When have you experienced this yourself?
3. Since Satan is so tricky/crafty, how can a believer recognize Satan’s schemes?
