GOD: Is creator

SCRIPTURES
Genesis 1:1 | In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Isaiah 40:28a | Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth.

Romans 1:20 | For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Isaiah 64:8 | And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

DISCUSSION

1. Do you believe that all of the universe, including you, was created by God? Why or why not? 
2. What proof of a Creator can you see when you look at the world God made?
3. What are some false explanations of the origin of life that others may hold to? 
4. How might a person live differently if they believe in God as Creator vs. believing the universe was created by accident? 
5. Romans 1 tells us that God’s power, shown through His creation, means we have no excuse for not knowing God. What consequence is there for those who reject knowing and following God?
