SATAN - How he works (unbelievers)

1 John 3:8 | But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.

1. When people live in sin, who have they let be their ‘lord’ (master or boss)? 
2. Do followers of Jesus still sin? How are they different than someone who “keeps on sinning” or lives in sin? 

Ephesians 2:2 | You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.

1. Why does Satan want people to stay living in sin?
2. Why does a heart that loves sin refuse to obey God?  
3. How does sin keep people far from God?

John 8:44 | For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.

1. What attributes/characteristics of Satan are listed in John 8:44?
