FELLOWSHIP - What does it look like?

SCRIPTURE
Proverbs 27:17 | As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.

Acts 2:41-47 | Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lords Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lords Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

1. Acts 2 shows us true fellowship and community in the early church. What types of things did Gods followers do together? 
2. How can sharing meals and meeting together regularly help build community and fellowship? Who are you doing this with?
3. Why is devotion or commitment to God’s Word and spiritual maturity an important part of fellowship? Is Gods Word part of your fellowship/community groups? If not, what will you do about it?
4. We see Gods followers are very generous and giving with each other. In what ways do you give to the needs of other believers?
5. Followers of God in true community are part of the Great Commission- people coming to know Jesus. Why is this important? Is this part of your fellowship/community group? In what ways?
