GIVING - We are commanded to give

SCRIPTURE
Matthew 6:21 | Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Proverbs 3:9-10 | Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.

Genesis 28:22 | And this memorial pillar I have set up will become a place for worshiping God, and I will present to God a tenth of everything he gives me.

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 | Now regarding your question about the money being collected for Gods people in Jerusalem. You should follow the same procedure I gave to the churches in Galatia. On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Do not wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once.

1. According to Proverbs 3:9, what are we supposed to give to God?
2. We see in Genesis 29:22 and in other parts of the old testament, that our tithe - what we give to God, is supposed to be how much?
3. 1st Corinthians 16 tells us to give our tithe when?
4. Do you ever struggle to give to God? When?
5. Do you give God your best and your firsts or do you usually give to Him what is left over? Why? What does this show about your heart/treasure?
